To celebrate Luka Doncic’s astonishing rookie season in the NBA, we created a social campaign that drew inspiration from Luka’s unique, throwback style of play — reminiscent of legends from the past.
Through a design language that blended vintage and futuristic elements, we created a series of trading cards that nodded to Luka’s classic style whilst also celebrating his bright future.
We create a pack of 7 cards — with each card heroing a specific moment from his rookie season.
In adittion to the cards, we also created a film to celebrate Luka’s season — edited in line with Nike’s brand platform at the time, Dream Crazy:
